Sticky pedals

Gmc 1998 1115k Van the gas pedals sticks once in long while i just taped and works find swapped out cable had a kink in it . The other thing is once in a while its like i come to a stop and the van stay a bit accelerated any ideas all.

You may have to clean out the Throttle plate horn. Also here is a restrictor on the back of the throttle plate that is riveted on. These rivets will occassionally break & allow the restrictor to bind up the throttle.

You probably just have carbon build up on the butterfly plate.. Use a rag soaked in carb cleaner to wipe out with your fingers.
