Windshield Visor Running Lights Wiring (98 Astro)

I have a freshly picked windshield visor from my local junkyard, it has about 7 yellow running lights over the top of it.. I was unable to find where exactly the wire was ran to when I took it out.. I'm assuming the wires (+/-) should run to the headlight switch to turn on when the headlights do.. if so, what wires should I splice them too? Oh, and I'm using self drilling screws and silicone to make the modification. If anyone has any wiring/installation tips they can give me it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

congrats on your find. i too found one in boneyard . i beleive one wire is hot on switch the other is grnd. be sure to use plenty of silicone on bottom of visor . hope this helps.cya fred

Thanks I'll give it a go! Took a look at the headlight switch.. I think the white and black wires should do.. We'll see.
