I have found filler plates to shave the door handles and gas door and whatnot but I can't find filler plates for the taillights. are they the same as the full size chevy pickups? they kinda look the same.

I found a guy on Ebay thet says he can make them but hasn't emailed me back.
anyone have thoughts?

I have emailed them twice and called them once but still haven't got a response.
I found some yesterday at GrantKustoms.com. I think they were $169 for a set? maybe less but not much.

they were pretty good when i ordered my filler plates from them....who knows....but go where u get good service for sure. maybe another member can speak up about the quality of one vs. another.....also check out the cad. tail install thread....i'm pretty sure it was mentioned where the fillers were obtained. good luck and let me know how it turns out.

There is only one place that makes them Grant Customs, they will cost you $130-150 and 3 weeks to a month because they have to be "Hand Made"

I have built 4 special machines to beable to produce these filler plates, and am now custom building machine #5 in my spare time, believe me it is not easy...... considering all the angles and curves involved to make these filler plates fit perfectly.

I am still working on my machine, but this design, test, fail and rebuild the machine again takes time......

Fullsize Chevy Truck fillers are different, the Astro is a unique design.

so are you saying we should wait till you start banging them out socalli? be prepared for a weekly pm asking if your machine is ready yet..hahhaha...........i have no problems waiting.....me shaving anything off the van is a while away.....but doesn't hurt to have the right parts.......support a member.

You can get them at SD. Don't ask me why but they are made by Grant and are much cheaper than ordering from Grant. Think mine were 119.00 and that included shipping. Grand was around 130 plus shipping.
