Hi, guys. I've been looking for 1 year or so and just picked up a 2004 Safari SL with only 130,000 km on it. I owned a 1990 Astro about 10 years ago and have missed it pretty much from the time I gave it to my son-in-law, so I'm not new to the joy of Astro/Safari ownership. I plan on using the Safari mostly to pull my popup trailer and go camping with the wife and my 2 dogs. Just thought I'd say hello.

Thank for the pics. That's a sharp looking van. Low kms. How does she run? If you don't mind me asking, how much did it set you back? Private or dealership?
I hope you enjoy your stay.

Thanks. She runs good, but I'm not too impressed with the mileage. I had a Dakota quad cab last and it was a lot better on gas. Paid $8500 at a dealership in Kitchener.

Not bad. What kind of fuel consumption are you getting?
