I've been lurking here a ridiculously long time. Now I've got projects and need to ask the experts. So hi :)

My current astro fascination is cause of the little Tiger motorhomes. Just sold a 2005 Tiger GT, bought it essentially new and put about 50K miles on it. Here it is:

Now I've got a 91 AWD Tiger XL, having fun with it. It's pretty underpowered compared to the other one, but working through the issues and making some progress. New tires/wheels, it'll get lifted. Here's the new kid:

I'm in SoCal.

Thanks Gary, appreciate that. Seems like a good bunch of folk over here.

The XLs area definitely hard to find. I found this one in UT with ~90K miles from a couple who loved it and tried to do right, but didn't really know what they were doing. Here's a couple of pics of the interior, been busy fixing stuff so haven't taken too many "overview" shots. But I will.

Through the roof when replacing the front vent with a fantastic fan:

So far, all the roof vents have been replaced (leaks or broken), new fuel pump on the generator, stereo swap, bent driver door hinge repaired, feedback loop on the cab 12V outlet fixed, added 12V outlet in the coach, coach battery cutoff switch, converter replaced, furnace sail switch replaced, coach water pump rebuilt.

Just getting started, this thing has issues - but making progress. I'm ok with projects, as long as they don't get in the way of roadtrips!

Hi Linda! Great to see you here. You are going to fit right in.

Thanks again for the help with my interest in the Tigers. As I said, we love them, but not ready to make the leap yet (we thought we'd wait a couple more years till the get older and rarer #-o )

Welcome! Those are a couple of great looking Tigers! I can't believe how clean the 91 AWD is! One thing you'll want to include in the upgrade funds when you do a lift and bigger meats is money for front and rear gear swaps. That'll put it back into the proper power band for less stress on the engine and tranny.

It's a dog house, she's in charge. I did add a litter box for them right before I sold it.
