Strange object help identify

Post by astrozam »

On my way home from work this aft I was taking some pics from the Hamilton mountain.I decided that since it was a pretty clear day for Hamilton that I would try to get a panoramic shot of the city,I took 4 shots and merged them together, I was happy with the result and as usual I blew up the pic to take a look at some of the different areas of the city.As it turned out I captured something unusual in the pic and I would like to get members opinions of what they think it could possibly be.Let me just state that I lived in Hamilton for 17yrs directly under the flight path of aircraft coming into Hamilton from Toronto and other areas,I got used to seeing and hearing plenty of commercial, civilian & military planes, helicopters& blimps, I was in the lookout area for 10 min after i took the panoramic pic and I also took other pics just after the panoramic, none of which showed the following...No editing other than cropping was done.

This is the 1st pic look about 1/5 of the way down in the center of the pic can you see a small dot in the clouds?
Image

this is from the same pic but cropped a little more
Image

same pic just a little closer, look for the yellowish shape
Image

and finally...
Image

There was no sounds from Helicopters or planes, and I'm almost certain that I would have noticed a blimp floating in the time that I was there.Aperture was 1/640 and although its not fast enough to stop a Rotor its still fast enough to catch a rotor blurred

Let me know your thoughts???

Anyone who knows me,knows I'm as honest as I am bald,LOL

That being said,I can understand some folks wondering if the pic was edited, but rest assured it was not,I may just give the Mt Hope airport a call on monday and inquire as to what may have been in the area at the time,it will probably turn out to be nothing strange at all,but for now its still a UFO,LOL

Could be a piece of space junk. I understand that NORAD is tracking 8000 pieces of trash that could be a problem for the shuttle or the ISS. It's all coming home sooner or later. If the entry trajectory isn't going to be a problem for us earthlings then they don't even notify anyone. :-k

Just wondering Keith.. did you happen to call the airport?

I showed Jen the pics. We both are open to the possibility that it could be real. A real what, we aren't sure. UFO it is.

Rob,I sent an email to the airport today as a matter of fact with the pics attached, hopefully I will hear back from them and when I do I'll post what they have to say.

Whats unusual about the pic to me is that there is no sign of a tail, there is also no blur from the rotor which is odd,I think shooting at 1/640 there should have been some evident, Its also a bit high for a blimp and there certainley doesn't appear to be any advertising on the side like most blimps have, there seems to be a lack of reflection from any windows as well.

These are just some of the things I've noticed, what do you think??
