Well that was an easy and cheap fix....

Radiator, thermostat, water pump, antifreeze, etc.

So the wife comes home from shopping today and tells me the AC in our van is making some nasty noise again. "Well crap" I thought. After some quick diagnosis I determined the blower motor was the culprit making the noise. But something didn't sound right about the bad noise. I told her it sounded like something was stuck in there. But I went off to the parts store to get a new one anyway.

So I come home with the new motor and a new fan. Get this: the new fan is metal rather than plastic like the other one. Anyway, I get the whole thing taken apart and I pull the old blower motor out. What I found was a paper receipt stuck inside the fan! The wife had place a bunch of plastic bags on the front passenger floor and cranked the AC when she left a store earlier. She had the AC set to MAX. So what happened was it sucked the receipt out of one of the bags and into the blower motor!!!

Only cost for this one was my time and the gallon of windshield washer fluid a spilled taking the tank out to get to the motor.

Glad to hear it was a simple solution Cecil. =D> I had a weird noise in mine last fall and it turned out to be a leaf! #-o
