Re: Cooper Discover AT3 4S, in Standard load, P
Looking good on your Astro. My younger brother also got 245/75r16 for his Tacoma along with new brake kit, bestop bed cover and railings. Night and day difference from 265/75r16 Toyo tires with better mpg now. You'll love that 4S.

Sounds like a better and more secure way to install it.Smiliesafari wrote:I've never done a timing chain cover without dropping the pan. I don't trust that the seals will line up perfectly. As for the balancer I put a piece of 2x4 against it and gently hammer it in place. Always worked for me.

Re: Skid plates, cross bars , Uni strut brackets
In some industrial applications with steel decking, those self-tapping screws sometimes work loose, so keep a close eye on them. You do not want to find one in a tire! And what's with the comment about rubber gaskets so the aluminum does not get scratched...on a skid pan?? Me thinks if possible scr...

Rod, I have a friend who've been to Prudhoe Bay for the oil job. We're finishing the installation of the new rack and tonneau covers plus a couple of led light bar when he mentioned about the place. That is one of the coldest places he has been.
