Instrument Panel lights don't work
Hey guys, I've recently acquired a '98 Astro LT 2WD. It's a Japanese export model (not that there's a world of difference) and I've set about restoring it after some fairly major mistreatment by it's previous UK owner(s). One of the 'upgrades' I've installed is a lot of LED lighting - including the ...

Re: Driver's Seat Flip
No - they're all slightly different; driver is electric, has lumbar and recliner on the right side of the base, front passenger is manual, has lumbar and recliner on the left side and also has the 'guzunder' (slide-out storage box). Left centre has just a recliner lever on the right side base, right...

Re: How to fix a twitching gas guage
I'm just going to stick my two cents worth in on this - partly because it's started to happen on my van and partly because there seems to be a lot of mis-information about how the Astro fuel gauge works. Re: New Member - UK
No, it was built in the good ole USA - Baltimore I believe - but just to a slightly different spec and still LHD. Reading the RPO sheet, there's something different in the emissions (probably more relaxed than the US in '98), it has a metric dash (as first I thought it might be Canadian) and the lig...

Driver's Seat Flip
Hey guys, I'm in the UK and recently acquired my second Astro after many years without. It's a '98 2WD LT passenger van but it's the Japanese export model. Not sure what difference that makes other than a metric dash, emissions and the rear bumper (which is a BIG bonus here in the UK as it's so easy...

Hey guys! Just found this very nice place after buying my second Astro. Had an '87 around 25 years ago then this one came along recently and since it wasn't full of teak, tassels and twinkly lights (rare over here!), I just had to have it! Bought it as a '96 but a bit of work based on the VIN reveal...
