Re: The Man Van is Dead...
Well I took a look at the '84 yesterday and it wasn't what I had expected. You can't tell from the photo but it had a LOT of rust issues and the interior was a total disaster. It was a lot more project than I wanted to tackle. The engine and drive train were in exceptional condition though. What a s...

Re: The Man Van is Dead...
Condolences, I feel your pain. Mine was totaled last weekend while I was floating a river. The shuttle driver ran off the road and rolled it. He is in the hospital and improving the van however is dead. I'm at a loss, I don't want to go through the process of building a new one. Not sure what vehic...

The Man Van is Dead...
Well guys, it's been a while since I posted last and a LOT has happened since then. First off we sold my wifes '98 Astro to get her a newer vehicle. Picked up a sweet 2004 Volvo XC70 AWD Turbo. It's a very nice car. Secondly we've had 3 new grand children. 2 boys and 1 girl. And lastly and most sadl...

Here's what I have. It's made by Valley Industries and I added the extension kit. I've hauled a lot up there. Never slept on it though but my kids and their friends have sat in it on occassion...

Re: ruptured artery
From the picture you posted it doesn't look like the connector is secure. That green ring is supposed to slip over the spring clips (you can see them just in front of the ring in your photo) towards the radiator. Those clips lock into the green ring (at the slots in the ring) and secure the tranny l...

Re: Rethinking Camperization
Hey nice pics FFT! I'm a Florida native and I must say camping here is a wonderful experience...just don't venture into the woods to camp in the late Spring, early Summer months. Way too many mosquitos and very warm...not a pleasant experience to say the least. Your kayak fishing rigs look awesome! ...

Re: Rethinking Camperization
If you want to go the "camper" route without having to cut the top then I would use the setup like I have and set the vans interior up with the modified "Westy" camper goodies. I'd love to find an old style VW camper to cannibalize. Then I wouldn't need to set up the additional s...

Hunt/Camp 2010 - WARNING DEAD DEER PICTURES
Hi Guys, We returned from our annual North Florida hunt/camp trip last Sunday but I am just now able to post some of the pictures. We took 3 deer, one 4pt and two spikes. I saved the front, and rear doors, the console, an extra set of mirrors and brake lightes an...
