I was told it would be less gas and less wear on the truck to use a dolly instead of a trailer. I know I would have to remove the dr...

Re: I bought a 1997 5.7

I finally got the vortec 5.7 running, I have a few little problems to work out such as the exhaust leaks, the top coolant line on the intake leaks and the electric fan still rubs on the water pump pulley. I order this electric fan from ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/SUPER-16-CHROME-REVERSIBLE-ELECTRI...

I did get the chip seems he just does not ship quickly so if you order a chip from him you have to expect to wait for a while for it.

my customizing of the rear of my van

These are not yet finished but I know how everyone likes pictures so here are a few.
The holes you see in the bottom of the doors is for nissan quest backup lights. I have the doors mounted with bolts for now because I am gonna take them off again to do the caddy tail lights later.

buyer beware - do not deal with this guy

I made the mistake of trusting this guy do to his knowledge on the phone and sent him 50 bucks through paypal. Never received anything except lies. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MAN- he was suppose to burn a chip for my van.

Re: what electric fans have you used sucessfully

I have a taurus fan and it hits the engine as it is way to thick from motor to back of fan. Not sure why cause my last van had a 350 with the same nose and it had more room and the water pump is the exact same pn.

what electric fans have you used sucessfully

My 89 Astro has approximately 3.5 inches from radiator to water pump pulley and a taurus fan will not fit so I am looking for options that have been used successfully. Thank you, Mark
