Re: blower motor volage
Thanks guys: I saw the write up on the procedure. I was really looking for the write up that starts off/ends with: 1. Call your dad.......have him fix it. 2. Enjoy your favorite adult beverage and pat yourself on the back. The voltage TO the resistor reads about 12V. The voltage (on high speed) to t...

Hi guys, The 2000 Astro manship is acting up again. Blower motor isn't working at all. It used to work on some days....then it started working whenever it felt like it.....and now it doesn't effing work. Checking voltage to blower motor resistor, I get a little less than 12 volts......seems normal. ...

Re: This is the season I hate
I can't complain about the snow too much where I live. We get it in Seattle and vicinity about every year for 2 days and every third year for a week. The knuckleheads in the area freak out and crash their cars. The only thing that gets accomplished is that the You Tube airwaves are filled with video...

Re: Suprise! Christmas came a little early this year.
True story.........what does it have to do with anything? It doesn't......... Living in Everett, Wa. at the time. My daughter was born on Dec. 18th. I woke up the next morning, mother and baby in hospital. Open the blinds and 6 inches of snow on the ground.....total shock! No indication of snow in t...

Re: Girls And Shocks
Astroturf.........nice post. You maked me laugh and spit up my coffee. I was going to mention about the bouncing around part, but I didn't want to offend any of the female board members. Gotta be pc ya'know?! I would much rather do that kind of bouncing for when I get to my destination....... then b...

Girls And Shocks
So here's my issue: I've read all the threads and posts about shocks and what everyone likes and what they think sucks.....what's expensive, what's cheap, what's in-between and what's crap. About all I can say is that I wish I had the option to buy shocks at Nordstrom's........so if I'm unhappy with...

Re: Right front brake system leak
Those are the guys. It's a one man job....attach them.....hook up your hose (so you don't drip fluid all over your disc brakes....open them up a half a turn.....pump the brakes until all the fluid runs clear with no air.....close them down tight. Done. It takes 10 minutes to bleed your front.......1...

UPDATE: Right front brake system leak
Thanks to everyone on this site for all your help. Here is the update: After tearing off the front end of my manship, I was able to find a tiny pin-prick of a leak that occurred from another line rubbing against the right front brake line on my 2000 Astro AWD. Removing the front end to gain more acc...

Welcome........great bunch of people here.
Are those stock 205's on your rig? When they wear out get some 235's ( or bigger?) so you can go into the corners without white-knuckling it. [-o<

Re: Right front brake system leak
Thank you, Sensei......... I have spent more time in research and development on this project than on the actual project. I am all about asking every question imaginable before I attempt something (I wish I had done that with my ex-wife before I married her.....I forgot to ask her the ONE important ...

Re: Right front brake system leak
My pin-prick leak is right where the two clips, numbered #17.....connect to the flex line going into the front right side drum. Aaron.........where did you purchase your "roll" of brake line? It's a special order everywhere I go! Even the Chevy dealer needs to order the stupid thing and pu...

Re: Right front brake system leak
Okay guys........here is an update: After waiting many days for the monsoons to cease and my ambition to increase........... I found the leak. It is a tiny pin prick of a hole (looks like it was caused by electrolysis) just to the right and down on the frame from the blower. I can get to it (not rea...
