Re: Not a replacement, not an upgrade, just a new van...

You won't know your being sprayed until it it too late. (I spent way to many years as a swim instructor.) We are camping out on the North Umpqua Labor Day weekend. If you're free come join us and break out that dusty whitewater kayak of yours! I think we have two or three families coming out with ki...

Re: Not a replacement, not an upgrade, just a new van...

Too sweet! I may have missed it if you said so, but you do realize it's a GTRV. Nice score. If your van said Sportsmobile on it, it would have gone for $29k or something. :supz: I noticed it was GTRV immediately. My first email was to my lady. My second was to Mike at GTRV, his response was to let ...

Don't think we have not talked about it. Quadvan is here in Portland... For now I'm going to enjoy my surf trip this weekend on the southern Oregon coast with a shower to rinse off in and a warm bed to sleep in.

Not a replacement, not an upgrade, just a new van...

As you may or may not remember my 2003 Astro pop top took an unhappy roll down a hill in eastern Oregon back in May. Ever since I have been either bitter or sad every time I see a sweet Astro drive by. I have been searching the ads for a replacement vehicle, mostly looking for a 2000 to 2007 AWD Exp...

Re: The Man Van is Dead...

I just don't get it.A shuttle driver can't just drive the van without flipping it.I am a emotional kind of guy and that would bring tears to my eyes. Ya know insurances aside,I would become "that guy" with a lawyer to get as much as possible from the company he works for. )>) After ...

Re: The Man Van is Dead...

Condolences, I feel your pain. Mine was totaled last weekend while I was floating a river. The shuttle driver ran off the road and rolled it. He is in the hospital and improving the van however is dead. I'm at a loss, I don't want to go through the process of building a new one. Not sure what vehicl...

Is that the ground to the engine cover? There may be a open connector right on top.

Re: Art Astro in Portland

I took this photo in front of Lipman's Party Supply in Southeast near OMSI. Doing a quick search I found more information. Re: What did you do to/with your van today?

Replaced the cap, plugs and wires. Arbitrarily started on #5, I was pleasantly surprised to find that that was the hardest one to replace. Got it in just under the hour... The other 5 took about the same. I'd been pulling a misfire in #5 code when going up hills at freeway speed, don't know if this ...

Re: What did you do to/with your van today?

Went to the JY this morning and picked up my donor trifold bed out of an Econoline 250 Hitop. Got the seat home and apart, measured out where it needs to be cut to fit and getting hold of a welder today to do the honors for me. Need to get this baby cut, upholstery and in before my Spring Break road...
