Re: My poptop converted van

Thank you very much, Franciox. I've emailed Safari Condo regarding a bed, haven't heard back yet. Now I see why they are expensive as they are; they are just as intricate as a residential sofa bed if not more so, and because number of units sold are so much lower, unit pricing is going to be a litt...

Re: My poptop converted van

Thank you for posting pics of your van. I have wanted a Safari Condo interior for years. I think it is better than any VW Westy, better thought out than Sportsmobile, GTRV, Leisure Way, or anyone else I've seen. I love the way the table swings out and how it stowes. The microwave is in the best spo...

Re: Loose steering adjustment

Check the idler arms. I know you said everything was checked but the idlers are the number one cause of bad steering. Yes Every moving part are in good condition. My neighbur, who is a mechanical has just found my problem. He squizzed the joint at the base of the steering colomn and the loose disap...

junior 1m.jpg junior 2m.jpg junior 3.jpg Winner, winner chicken dinner. You have an incredible van. I am going to spend a lot of time looking at your photos as I plot out my bed design. Condo did previously another type of conversion that use the back seat for the bed. There was a cabinet that was ...

Loose steering adjustment

Hi, I've followed the steps to adjust the loose in my steering (screw in the steering box) but it did nothing. No change at all. The ball joints and all other parts in the direction have been checked and don't show any problem. Is there another part except the steering box where the loose can come f...

Re: My poptop converted van

I agree with Tom, the Safari Condo interior is totally awesome. As someone who has spent a HUGE amount of time trying to figure out how to squeeze a full camper interior into one of these vans, I can definitely see that they've done a great job of maximizing space. If someone want all the mesuremnt...

Re: My converted van 2 of 2

Before there was a cabinet where a porta potti fit perfectly. When I replaced the cooler drawer by a real fridge, I lost the cabinet under it. But the porta potty fit betwen the seats when the bed is unfolded.

Newly from Quebec

I just found this great forum. I've been looking for a place where I can find answer to my questions. It seams to fullfil my expectatives.

I'm a owner of a Safari 2000 2WD Poptop converted and fully camperised.

See you on the road!
