I did the flush as well when I bought my 2000. (68K on the clock) I had a pronounced shudder in the t-case, so bad I thought something was wrong. Did the 2X fluid change with AutoTracII and it's been smooth sailing ever since.

Got the gauge pod and gauge, JEGS sent me the wrong cooler other wise that is what I would be doing this weekend. Should be in by early next week, so I'm all over it! The first of many mods to come!
