Re: not what he expected !?!?

Your friend is awesome! I am sick of people just assuming they are more important than everyone else. We all (most of us :) ) that cutting in line was not ok in first grade. Really don't need much said than that. Cutting in line can be replaced by whatever you want, we all knew better. When did forg...

Re: Blower motor

Thank God! I was worried. Something small like a blown transmission, no big deal. A blower motor? No sense making the payments at that point! Glad it worked out easily for you and thanks for allowing my inner a#@hole a second to come out and play! Kelly

You have my attention... I like your take on the sub in the wall. I was going to box mine behind the panel but yours is very clean. Anyone that take a new vehicle and starts the mods in the audio dept is alright! Kelly

Re: Van loses tire on Interstate.

DYLIT, we definitely felt it. My wife and I were discussing the vibration we had not felt the day before. The vibration was slight and not overly alarming. I told her when we got out of the corner I was going to pull over and check it out. Just never got that far. I told my buddy who is a local cop ...

Re: Van loses tire on Interstate.

All the studs were there. I even found 4 of the 5 lugnuts and reused them. I thought wheel and tire would have been more shredded as well. They are IMO not safe to to keep on but will move me around til I can replace. Is this lugnut loosening common? I haven't really heard of it but I had the wheels...

Van loses tire on Interstate.

My wife and I were headed out downhill biking today after such a great day of yesterday. About three miles from the exit, the driver's side front tire decided it wanted to go faster, or somewhere else or who knows what but it didn't stay with the van. Got my whole days adrenaline in about 30 seconds...

Re: factory security

Update on security issue. I had my local dealer cut a key from my VIN. The new key works much better but I have had several issues with it. The dealer said that this is not that uncommon a problem and that just a key may fix it or make it tolerable but usually they end up putting in a new lock cylin...

Re: My "new to me" ride, finally

Really? The Smith sticker was free and the rear hatch needed a lot of work! A smarter person would have tracked down the proper-colored used one. My thought was it really needs a cool pop top like yours and a nice lift, ya, kinda like yours! Thanks for the kind words anyway! Kelly

My "new to me" ride, finally

Ok people, I know that you have all been waiting impatiently for pictures of the van that could be cool enough to replace the mural machine. I'll put a few up of my $900 wonder but please, no laughing too loud! http://i1261.photobucket.com/albums/ii592/krsowles/2012-07-09171732.jpg http://i1261.phot...

Re: What did you do to/with your van today?

Deleted my F#@king oil cooler manifold! After several failed attempts to stop the leaking from it (Chevy dealer was loving it), I removed it. Was coming home Sunday and smelled oil burning. When I got home (was almost there), I saw smoke billowing from underneath. As I looked under van ( I really di...
