Don't think of it as a confrontation, or even a firing. Put the ball in their court. Explain that it just doesn't seem they are happy about doing your van, and that you need to put the project on hold, as it has taken too long. Get your stuff, and head to the other shop. Good Choice on the wing. Bet...

Here are some pictures from my August long weekend http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e390/Someonebikes/August2006105.jpg This looks real familiar. Where on the map is it? Sounds like during your trip you touched on ...

I didn't even think of that. Good plan! I think I may try the same thing. You are probably right about the threads not being enough, but I am thinking I will try it anyways, and once it strips out, I will go ahead and weld a nut.

sweet! If you ever are itching to sell it, Let me know! The one in the picture I posted is pretty special to me. I learned how to walk in the back of it during a trip out west. (things were a little different in the child safety department then) I would fix up mom and dads 76, but it is a complete h...

Here's a couple of my latest. http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g38/brijacjan/Picture184.jpg This little guy thought he was going to hitch a ride. We went through a drive through, and when I got on the h...

here's mine http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g38/brijacjan/Picture195.jpg It is a 1977 Marquis with an OMC 190hp ford 302. It's been in the family since new. My cousin still has her sister boat, that was bought by my uncle. They are one off in serial numbers. The weight is about 3500 lbs loaded. I ...

8-[ http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y231/AudioAnonymous/101_0034.jpg What's up with the ford? Is that a 77? It is in great shape. Here's a pic of my parents 76, circa 1977. They still drive it, it is rusted all to heck and has 300,000 on it. http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g38/brijacjan/new1977m...

I'll be at JoAnns one way or another by Thursday, and will let you know. If you haven't been to the one in Fort wayne yet, you should make a visit. It is a nice new one, and has a lot of stuff. (ok, that sounded gay, sorry) I went into "Harbor Freight Shoes" once. I priced a couple pairs o...

hey ruckus! Welcome to the board. Did you do anything with the Jet other than it's EZ tune program? I did that to mine, and it seems to have improved milage slightly, with a little gitty up improvement, but not as much as I'd hoped. I'm looking for some things to do with it, but wouldn't know where ...

Trybe, thanks for the link; I'll be checking them out. My wife and I went to a fabric and craft store, JoAnn Fabrics, to see what they had in headliner material. Great selection...NOT! All they had was a foam material, 54 inches wide, available in only black or gray for $11 a yard. I roughly guesse...

my 2001 has tether mounts at the bottom of the seat back (bench seats) but these are on the outside, and the middle is where the lap-belt is. We have L.A.T.C.H. mounts in our saturn, and although they are nice, I really don't like them any better than the lap belt in the safari. We use the style tha...
