Is that a Duralast TS34-32072B? if you compress the shock two or three inches and line it up in the bracket above the bolt hole and then let it expand down into it, will it's body fit into the mounting bracket contours?

I put them on my van years ago without any issues I would phone Tenneco and see if they have made a revision to them or if the part number you received is the correct part.

My 1998 had the transmission cross member tapped and I have not had an issue so far, I am however cautious whenever I remove and remount the skid plate because I'm worried about stripping the threads.

if they introduce AWD in a couple years that would be really tempting i'll have to take some more measurements but it sure looks promising.

cut out old clogged cat and put in new shiny cat it's so nice to be able to climb hills again. :supz:

now just need to fix whatever killed the cat.......

98: installed new rotors, EBC pads, water pump and changed oil and filter then went for a drive :supz:
