Re: Bad fuel mileage, occasional rough idle
For my two cents I think you're on it. My 95 did the same thing at the same mileage. It doesn't like low fuel pressure and if it won't hold pressure it acts like that. Mine did and after ruling out the pump and finding low pressure (45psi) and leak down, I centered on the the regulator. You can repl...

95 Safari fuel tank/ lines conections...
Hey folks, I have a 95 with fuel injection. I've just had my fuel pump poop out and in replacing it I found EVERYTHING was rusted to crap. So I'm replacing it all from the engine back. My questions is the the connections at the tank and in general. The connections on my tank are 2 rubber vent lines ...

Re: BMW engine swap?
Your both right, what's the point of putting in a pricey Bimmer engine when a small block will do the job and better in some ways. It was just a thought that it could be done. I remember seeing a Jeep Wagoneer with a Ferrari V12 and gearbox years ago so this has gotten me all curious. Thanks.

A cold starting problem,
Hey folks, My 95 has just begun a starting problem when cold around 40 degrees and below. It will crank fine but not start until it seems like something kinda "trips" and then instant start, smooth running, but with check engine light on. Still runs fine and once I shut it off and restart ...

BMW engine swap?
Hey folks. Some jerk ripped off the Chevrolet symbol from the center of my grill and my daughter stuck on a BMW roundel for a laugh, but I've had enough people ask me if it had an engine swap that I got to wondering if it had ever been done, whether or not it would actually be worthwhile. A straight...

Re: AC electrical help please...
Well, I pulled the dog house and I was certainly wrong about the needed power feed. It's just another set of small green wires. But I tested them for hot and there is power there. I plugged them back in and tested at the clutch again but still no power there. I'm at a loss on this one, still a Dork ...

Re: AC electrical help please...
Thanks Smiles. Of course that makes sense. I've been hesitating to take the dog house off and trying to check things from above but of course the little wires at the clutch can't provide the power needed to drive it. That's why there's a relay and there IS a reason why my daughter put "Dork&quo...

AC electrical help please...
Hey folks, I'm kinda new here with a 95 AWD Safari that has a AC electrical problem. I'm hoping somebody might suggest a direction. It has charge I believe, in fact about 32psi static. Here's what I did so far... There's power at the low pressure switch but when I cross with a wire (ign/eng/switch o...
