Re: At 10:34 it got stabbed

I stood there this morning at 10:34 and watched a love/hate relationship get stabbed threw the windows with a front loader. No pictures because of dead batteries in my camera. Not a good idea to take pictures at a funeral, I hope you at least brought a poster board of pictures when Rufus was still a...

Hey bud good to see you around.Been alittle bit.The 94LT I am getting $.13 a lb. I noticed that you were smart enough to sell the cat off separately. I was lucky t...

The End Is Near

I am in the process of replacing my 92 Astro van that I have owned since new. It has over 206K miles and has served me well over the years. The engine, transmission and fuel pump are original. Rust has taken over and the rear wheels are stuck on. The gas mileage isn't the greatest and since it doesn...

Re: Hi, am a new member from Germany

Thanks for the welcome. Had got a question for my Cobra. Does anyone of you in the Astro Cobra was built? I mean, what decorators. I think that it was Cobra, but can not find the designer on the web. Welcome Bar, I have a 1992 Astro conversion van. When I purchased it new in 1992 the chevy dealer d...

Re: Plans for My Safari's Convertible Bed

You could also go to the bone yard and look for an Astro/Safari conversion van. My van's rear bench seat folds flat (small bed) or fold up so that you can use it as a bench seat. My 60 lb dog can easily lay on the bench seat with it folded upright.

Mine broke and I took my wire feed welder over to the van and put a weld tack to the bracket and it is still holding two years later.

Re: Rear Brake Lines

I hate to be bothersome, but can you give me more info on this short cut. It's just that I have the van apart for 4 days now, and it's stressing me out. All of the lines were corroded, and I can't find the flare nuts that fit, so I have to re-use the old rusty ones. ](*,) I bought a long roll of li...

No I took a short cut. To do it like the factory did you need to drop the tank.

Re: Removing Stuck Wheel

Thanks for the suggestions. Since I don't have a lift it would be difficult for me to swing a big hammer on the inside of the tire. I will try loosing the lug nuts and drive around the block. The last time I had the wheels off (1 year ago) I put anti-seize on the hub of the wheel. This works well if...

Removing Stuck Wheel

Any tricks for removing my stuck rear wheels? The lug nuts come off easily but my aluminum wheels are stuck. I had this happen last time I went to rotate my tires. The tire guy couldn't get them off, he beat on it with a big hammer. When I got it home I was able to get them off by kicking the tire f...

Re: Wooooo......shake it up!

I live in Illinois, why the hell is an earthquake waking me up? Magnitude 4.3 on the Richter Scale http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/dyfi/events/us/2010snay/us/index.html The snow plow woke me up at 2:30 am but slept through the earthquake at 4:00 am. Had a few pictures tip over other then tha...
