Yea in that pic it does look a little off. I have problems trying to align doors by myself. Usually takes a couple people. I don't think there'd be a problem with taking doors off other van and using them. Shouldn't be at least. The Astro didn't change that much over the years, did it? A little bit ...

Any way to possibly cut the supports for the wing, to lower it some? I know some wings can be done that way, not sure about yours though. The door does look misaligned. I can't really tell at the angle, plus I'm not a pro at body work stuff. I know I can't see that much when my doors are closed. Now...

Well, I've kinda of decided on what I want to do. Even though my van doesn't have the 3rd brake light, I am going to install one. It'll be at the top of the van (of course). The 3rd brake light will have the camera built into it, IF I can find the camera again. May not look all that great when I get...

hmmm.. do a motorized slider. That way you can open it when you need to see, or throw something at a stupid driver in your blind spot.. :) (just kidding people) I kind of like having the window in mine, but, will be going without it in the next couple weeks. That's when the sub enclosure is being pu...

Rear view camera

I am looking to install a rear view camera but having a little problem where to put it. Where is the best place on the back of the astro to put one, that'll give a lot of coverage?
Also, for those that have rearview cameras, what brand did you go with and the reason why you went with it.

I just ran across your stats page. :) Not bad on the scores, not bad at all. I sure hope my 'Stro will come close to comparing to yours. 208 points for this year. Damn, you were busting ass weren't you? I'm still not sure of what or where I am going to go with the astro. AJ and Shawn Flemming both h...

Nothing in the 'Stro, for now. The plans for it are 4 to 6 18" Fi Audio BTL subwoofers, fully optioned out, with a minimum of 2,000 watts on each one. Most of the other stuff will be out of the Beretta. The Beretta currently has: JVC kd-avx1 headunit 4 - 12" Audiobahn DUB-1200 dual voice c...

Wish I was going to WF this year. Had a chance but bought the Astro instead. Hope you do good. I know about Cactus Sounds. Darn good subs. One of the events I attended had a Lexus (I think it was) with 1 18" in a wall, on 2 Lanzar 2000watt amps. I did a 152.something. Took a lot of people by su...

I was thinking that, but, I know somebody running 20 cubes for 4 18s without any problems. He (Steve Meade) has a Tahoe though. Actually I'm not sure where i'm gonna go. I'm setting up for Bass Race with some SPL runs. Not concentrating on SPL specific. I want to groundpound next season. The enclosu...

I think I just saw my enclosure in your last post..hehe. I'm getting a 30cube enclosure with a 900 (maybe more, can't remember) sq.in port. It's currently setup for 2 18" SoloX subs, but I'll be redoing the faceplate. Hopefully I'll be able to fit the subs I'm considering in it. 4 18" BTLs...

That looks real nice AA. I've decided not to cut the slider out. Within the next couple week there will be a 30cube enclosure with around 900sq.in port, installed. Supposed to slide right in there without any problems. Unfortunately it's setup for 2 Kicker Solo X 18s, so I'll need to change the baff...

All I can say is DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMN!

That's a lotta IA 4.0s. What they gonna be driving? Makes my systems plans seem so small now. :(

I may pick your brains sometime.
