Engine heaters in winter?
Thought I'd put this right up top as to garner more attention. Who here has experience with heating the engine on their A/S? Looking specifically at Kat's hose heaters for the lower hose, battery heater jacket and possibly an oil pan immersed heater. I'm afraid an oil heater may burn the oil though?

Re: Mid-window seals.
Took a lucky guess and guessed the asterisks would be a 11-19 number. Found on GMPD. http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oe-gm/15715694
Can anyone confirm these both are the same seal on both sides ?

I signed up on November 8, 2014.. hadn't posted since. I recently took on an overnight job. This gives me a lot of time to browse stuff on the web. Remembered I signed up at ASV, and so here I am. What's happened between then and now.. December 2014: Full brake job. New calipers, wheel cylinders, ro...

Re: Fan Clutch Affects Tranny Shifts
Upon reading this, I'm a little confused.
Upon a cold start, my fan runs.. will engage for most of first gear when I start off and then stop the fan noise after it is partially through second. Has been this way as long as I can remember and we've owned it since new in May 1999.

Anyone have a part number or lead as to how I can replace these? Water is seeping by slowly on one side when I hit car washes. Figure replace both at the same time.
Buddy works as service manager at GM Chevy / Buick dealer and cannot find a part number.
