I have read and watched posts and videos from him.
Sad to hear of his passing. RIP.

Re: Rear shock re mount
I ended up using the stock mount location.
I may redrill later. Plenty of people have redrilled the stock brackets.

Re: Looking for a new van.
Hi, Nice work and good ideas on your Chevy Express. I owned a 1979 Chevy g20 Beauville wagon , 8 passenger. Then a 1994 Chevy g20 sport wagon. I hope Chevy comes out with new van/wagon with mid / high roof options to compete with sprinter, transit and pro master.' AP Not to side track but I too own...

Rear shock re mount
Sorry if I missed it.
Is there a best guess as to redrilling shock mounts.
As in length vs. lift?
2" lift equals 2" higher hole?
Just wanted to be sure.

Re: Help with installing swivel bases please.
OP, any update?
I just tonight pulled the front passenger seat and going through the head scratch phase as to which swivel I will use.
One looks much like yours and is from a full size Chevy van. The other is a CL find of unknown history.

Re: Looking for opinions on non0open rear differentils
Hi Rod,
I drove during our lowland snow/ice day and was very impressed with the Eaton I installed. I tried to spin the tires at one point and couldn't. It did spin once on my almost 20 mile commute. Around a corner.

Rear bump stops with 2" lift question
I bought some 5" tall bump stops for my Safari with a 2" lift. I have read the factory piece is 3.5" wondering if I should cut mine down to 4 or go back to the original 3.5 for that week bit of extra articulation? Thoughts?
