Re: Battery randomly draining for no explainable reason
There’s a one way selenoid between the front and back batteries, it’s controlled by a live wire in the van. When it’s running. It trips the selonoid and charges the rear. I suppose I could disconnect rear and see if it makes a difference but again, the randomness with which this happens makes it sup...

Battery randomly draining for no explainable reason
2003 van... A few weeks ago I swapped the reverse lights for led bulbs. A day or two later I went to drive it and it was completely dead. I thought maybe I just didn’t shut a door all the way or left a light on, so I jumped it, no big deal. Ever since then it will randomly just drain itself. I got a...

Suspension clanking...
I’ve got an 02 with (What I’m told) is a 2’” lift added by PO. everything looks super clean and well maintained. Runs and drives well, but over bumps, or more specifically pot holes, rough terrain etc, sometimes I’ll notice a sort of slight ‘clanking’ coming from the suspension. As if something is s...

Turn signals shorting out when in reverse
Super weird problem.... 2003 Astro.... as the title suggests, turn signals work fine (although they don't auto off after you turn) but as soon as you put the van in reverse, the fuse blows. Super strange. The rear light sockets are pretty jacked up. They're black and slightly melted, although they a...

Hello from LA
Just picked up an '03 AWD Astro to turn into a little camper for weekend trips. I had an 87 Astro way back in the day, but this is the first AWD.
So far I've encountered all sorts of weird little gremlins. Look forward sharing my build and hopefully picking your brains for answers.
