Moboman,I run the Monroe Sensa Trac on a 98 awd up front-but I used the 1500 Suburban shocks which will fit- the difference was like night and day to the original ones and for the last 30,000 miles I have no complains.

Thule racks makes adapters to bolt on the side of the high top to which you than can mount a standard rack.

Matt nothing should happen to the VC with the front shaft removed-the VC will lock up and the front output flange will turn along overcoming only the seal friction-you can compare it to a bike clutch with the drive chain removed.You can run the engine all day long without burning up the clutch. Hi ,did somebody ever find some "normal"wiper arms for the Astro which tilt back 90* and stay there-for snow removal and to keep them from freezing to the windshield. This would be nice. GM engineers need there head examed.
