I don't trust CR. The stuff they publish is ridiculous sometimes.
The Sprinter is more reliable and has a good reputation worldwide.

That would be my next step. A locksmith might be able to help you. Hopefully the receiver hasn't gone bad.

Re: no forward gears
No programming. How many miles on the van please? When is the last time the transmission was serviced? (new fluid + filter) Are you saying that the shift lever won't rotate into the 'D' position, or you mean you selected Drive, but the van won't move? Have you checked the level and condition of the ...

Re: Does the L96 V8 have AFM?
Thank you... except Wikipedia is reader created, it isn't an official source and most of the references are from magazine articles. While not perfect, wikipedia is a great resource for automotive info. I use it all the time. You would know if your engine had CD. It's very noticeable from sound and ...

Re: Does the L96 V8 have AFM?
Welcome to the forum. No. Thank goodness the vans never got cylinder deactivation. GM would probably loose all their fleet sales if they did. read the L96 was only used up to 2017. 2010–2020 Chevrolet Express/GMC Savana 2500/3500/4500 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Motors_LS-based_small-block...

Re: High Idle Nightmare - '95 Chevy G20 - Code 35
I have taken the IAC valve out and plugged the port w my finger and it does not seem to change the idle very much. well that would indicate the IAC system is not really doing its job. Since you replaced the valve already it's probably not the issue, and the problem could be in the wiring. So inspec...

Re: High Idle Nightmare - '95 Chevy G20 - Code 35
welcome to the forum It throws a code 35 and previously was throwing a code 32 as well. I replaced the IAC valve and the TPS first. The code 32 went away but now it still throws a code 35. Did you look up what the codes mean? If so , please post it here. I have sprayed for vacuum leaks and found no ...

Start with the basics. Check the level and condition of the transmission fluid.
When is the last time the transmission was serviced (fluid + filter change)?

Re: Small renovation to rear body
Here is a stainless screw in an aluminum sailing yacht mast. rig3.jpg Youtube video https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Wi2ycDGYrcQ/hqdefault.jpg I remember I had to go a scrapyard once for Astro roof rack parts. The rack is aluminum and I'm pretty sure the long torx screws are stainless. Not sure what the threa...
