What are you talking about Dean? We both have the same dents from the same tree on our sliders. Remember the tree that holds our van up as you go down into the creek? The one I bypassed once and instead put a hole in my front diff? LOL

In drag cars without full frames,we tie the front and rear sub frames together and with roll cages there is very little flex. I did a Don Hardy frame kit like this on a 1975 Monza Town coupe.Once done,I could lift the whole one side of the car with a jack very easily.Might be a simple answer with only 2x4 frame ties and a cage.Run a roll bar right behind the front seats and "x" it in.Then run runners along the roof line on both sides x'ing them in where they won't interfere with the rear seating and roll bars over each set of rear seats.Tie it together to the rear supports of the rearend.Nothing is needed beyong that point. That way you get a D.D. that still has the use of the rear seats and a van that is a lot stiffer too for off roading.Safer too as a D.D.
