4" Lift and CV Joint Boots

Post by H2OJoe »

Has anyone had issues with the boots on the front axles wearing out prematurely after installing a lift kit?
I had new axles and boots installed during the summer and now the driver side boot is loose. I put bigger
tires on after the lift so it doesn't seem like the axles are at much of a different (if all) angle than before.
Thoughts?

Nope. Mine are in perfect shape, and I'm pretty sure they're original (~280,000km)

Tire size doesn't affect axle angle, just torsion bar tension and weight.

Maybe the boots weren't put on tightly enough?
