fuel pressure
I have a 2000 astro with a no start problem every one says check fuel pressure. I have GM shop manuals for my van and cannot find out where to connect pressure gauge aby help would be appreciated,

There should be a connection near the back of the engine. You will need to remove the dog house to get to it.
Now, my neighbor had a 1999 Astro that would not start, and it seemed like a fuel pressure issue, but it turned out to be the cheap dist cap and rotor he installed. When he replaced them with good AC Delco parts the van started right up.

There should be a "shrader valve" (sticking up) on the fuel line at the back of the intake manifold, behind the fuel injection system.
Side note: Fuel pressure also depends on a pressure signal from the oil sender... but will still activate briefly when the key is first turned on.
