I just bought a GMC Safari RWD van and it has 4 rear shocks. Was this ever a factory option or is it a mod? Does any one out there have a setup like this?

I've never seen that. And I've never seen that big black thing where my spare is. Then again, I've never looked at anything older than 2000.

They never offered dual shocks on these vans. That was something the previous owner did.
