I finally got the vortec 5.7 running, I have a few little problems to work out such as the exhaust leaks, the top coolant line on the intake leaks and the electric fan still rubs on the water pump pulley. I order this electric fan from ebay.

Recently bought a 1989 Astro RS from Florida. Replaced stock engine witha 1997 5.7 vortec with TBI and replaced transmission with rebuilt 700R4 with mild shift kit.

As you may know I do not have a garage and its raining here so when it stops I will fix the timing, exhaust leaks and any other little problems then make a video. I promise.
