electric heating in the floor?
Has anyone put electric heating in the floor of their van? or any vehicle, really? Any thoughts?

No, because it would never work. Electric heaters use too much power. And even if you ran a generator to power it, you would just be losing too much heat to the outside.
Diesel heater is the most popular solution.
