I recently replaced the serpentine belt, tensioner, idler pulley, thermostat and back flushed the radiator and heater core. Afterwards, in the vicinity of the AC evaporator, I discovered a disconnected wire that is approximately 10" in length. I've not been able to locate a connection within its reach. Am I overlooking something, or could it possibly be for an option my 2003 Astro cargo van does not have? See attached.
Thanks! BTW, this is my first ever posting. Accept my apologies if I've not followed proper format.

Re: 2003 Wiring Harness Question
welcome to the forum GK
Is your windshield washer pump working?
Yes the connector could be for something that was never installed. What color are the wires.?
The "Starting/Charging system" section is for problems related to those systems (starter, batter, alternator, etc.)
I'm moving your question to general electrical.

Re: 2003 Wiring Harness Question
Wiper pump is working. Wire colors for the 'mystery connector' are black and the other wire is black & grey.
PS: Thanks for shifting my question to proper category.

It's the connector for the coolant bypass valve. Do you have a rear heater?
