Busted Captain Seat

Post by mikesc »

I have 1986 G-20 Royal conversion. Second row captain's seat is busted. It just falls back like the locking mechanism is broken. Is there a fix for this that doesn't involve replacing the seat? Same seat, the arm rest is down and won't come back up. I can provide pictures later. Thanks in advance.

I would check if the upholstering is removable, because then you can take it off and inspect the mechanism inside to see what it needs.

I'll definitely look into it. Are those parts easy to find or is it something I'll need to figure out on my own?

40 year old conversion seats ... definitely not.

If repair isn't possible, then you're better off putting in something else.
