Hi everyone.

Been a big fan of the G van for a long time. I worked at a Chevy place in the 80s and I drove many of them brand new. The owner's son owned an antique store and a G van was his delivery vehicle, and had a couple of them, and I helped him deliver furniture and whatnot. Years later a friend of a friend was selling one and I bought it and drove the heck out of it. When it went tango uniform I parked it and bought another one just like it.

Hope I can contribute and offer advice from my years of G van experience.

The trans was not in a good way and then it blew a head gasket. Fixing those would have been more than the van was worth. In hindsight I should have just fixed it. But along came the 90 and that was that. I have taken a few things off the 84 for the 90, surprisingly there are lots of differences. Sadly though, the 84 is going to have to go away, so it will get cut up into little pieces and stored in the garage, in less space than it takes up now.
