How to attach new rear door with this rust issue

Post by Mikepmacc »

So our rear door is hanging and needs replaced but there is a rust problem where the bottom hinge attaches. Anyone have an idea how to fix this? I was thinking about welding a new piece on.

I too have to wonder what the underside looks like. If the unibody in general looks that bad, the hinge area is the least of your worries.
