Chat is now enabled. You can find it near the bottom of the main page.

You don't.
It's like the Hotel California.

Chat only displays when you're signed in to the forum.

I just g00gled It:
"Hey Joe, a song by Jimi Hendrix"

... and about that chat Q - I guess it figures you are in chat as long as you are active, dropping out of the list at "Refresh".

lol, I should have gotten that. I hear "where are you going with that gun in your hand" all the time at work. Screw gun of course.

I think the chat pretty much works like a forum topic. Only it looks different and gets refreshed faster.

well...another member pointed me to this forum, and was lamenting the lack of "social" interaction. i agreed and suggested chat.

II think we each need to lay out our availability & ability to get into some real-time chat.

Simply put, I myself have a wide-open schedule, am on Pacific Time, but with notice I can be here during evening hours for earlier time zones.

I have no Job, nowhere to go, nothing to do and would very much like to help in any way possible.
You two, being on west coast time... 4 hours different than Woody and I, seemingly makes it tough to "get together".
And Woody has his full time job also.

Let me know, I am game...

You two, being on west coast time ( far west time, no less )... 3 hours different than Woody and I, makes it tough to "get together".
( awake / daylight time for some can be a real difference-maker ) It really is more than 4 hours...

And Woody has his full time job also.
