There was some discussion on AS.com about doing a rack/pinion swap, but since it's down..... Check with Rebel, I think he was gathering parts to do the swap on his van.

If the rebel can instal a corvette independent rear-end in his van, then a rack and pinion should be a piece of cake. Before you start look at it and see whats going to be involved. Most times it's MONEY.

Slowmover...Don't try the Camaro rack. There's not enough rack travel. BTDT.
Larry...The Smilievan is going to get a Mustang rack. My son (Wally) has to tell me how great his works every time he see's me. The Mustang rack has a whole turn less at the steering wheel than the Explorer/Mountaineer rack I used in my van. Stay tuned.
