It's pretty cool.
I actually have one of those tuner packages & am experimenting with it. There is ALOT of tunability in there...

I see you also have swapped a V8. How does that work with the licensing? If you purchased it for your vin number does it think your running a V6? Did you use the vin # and computor of the donor vehicle? Did you use both vin's?

I am actually using it on my '98 Jimmy & someone elses '97 Safari. It registers your VIN to the product when you copy your vehicles program (download)

So you probably couldn't use it to turn a V6 computer into a V8 computer. So for a swap you would just register your VIN to a donor computer?

I believe the computers are the same, they are physically the same size, just different programming. If I was doing a swap like this, I would probably just try reprogramming the computer to a truck V8 VIN (with the GM reprogramming system that I have access to) & then tweak that program.
If that did not work, I would use a computer from a truck.
