This is about as cheap as you'll find. Check his store out for turn key crates.

Bryan, here's the GM Performance Parts website, http://www.gmperformanceparts.com/
It's guaranteed to make you drool as you look around inside it.

PS. Check out the dyno graph for the Ramjet 350--would that beast move an Astro or what? I covet that engine. :supz:

My point of view is that not all crate engines are equal. For me Jasper crates are a good buy.But there are many who would tell you they are junk.Depends on who you are talking to.I did own a Recon 350 in a 10' box truck that I sold afew years ago.The thing had a bad piston pin in it from the day I got it to the day I sold it.Low miles too. Most crate outfits want a core too,so that is something to consider while shopping for a engine too.(added costs)You might find that to buy a low mileage roller engine and clean and reseal it would be a better route to go.Even the same and rebuild it.You would know for sure what you got and be able to build it to what you want.Just some thoughts for you to consider.Gary

for people like me who don't have the room(yet) to bring an engine in strip it clean it and rebuild it turn key crates are pretty much our only hope. my family would surely kill me if they came home and saw a 350 sitting on my engine stand unless my van was actually broken....

The 350 that was put in mine was a GMcrate motor , it was a caprice roller motor , year 92 specific if i remember correctly . ( i wasn't the one who bought it & put it in , lockdoc was so for more details talk to him ) i believe he picked it up for around 2200 $ . he also installed a better cam for more torque . but i can tell you , its a real nice set up , lots of torque & runs flawlessly .
