So you finally decided to go for it, huh? Looking forward to watching this swap. Curious to see how easy/hard it is to swap a vortec 350 into a vortec-equipped van. The elecrtronics, of course!
By the way, my 97' doesn't have the passkey antitheft.

This swap will not be a weekend swap, but it certainly will be a good swap, and a first in our community. You will get good gas milage and power with this swap

You can subscribe to Alldata for a short time for info and specs plus especially wiring diagrams http://www.alldata.com/ for wiring diagrams

I'm hoping for a weekend swap, but maybe not. I picked up a run stand for it and plan to have the wiring harness all done a ready to plug in (hopefully) when I slide it back into the van.
I have GM service software, so I have all the info I could ever want for the truck it's out of and the van. I've already been comparing wire routing diagrams and end views of the various connectors. Looks like this may just be easier than I thought, then again maybe not we'll see.
