On my 1994 LT I found the link fell off from the diaphram
to the throttle. The rivets broke off the bracket the link connects to the diaphram.I also found the diaphram had pin holes in it.I tried to patch up the diaphram with silicone, but was not successful.I haven't yet replaced the diaphram.

check all the vacuum lines ... sounds harder than it is. I was told follow the thin black hard plastic line that runs over behind the alternator. wouldn't ya know it.. it just ended back there.. into the abyss. i popped off the engine cover inside (doghouse) to allow more light and found the other end of the line hanging. hard plastic line + engine head = hard brittle .. crumble.
i cut off the hard crumblining line and used some rubber windsheild washer line to repair.

hope that helps somewhat :D
