How wide of tire wheel combo b4 sliding door hits?

I was thinking when I upgrade tires I want 30x9.50x15 on 15x8 4.5" backspace. Will the door clear this combo?
The other question is I remember helping a friend install a kit on an old dodge van that kicked the door out further to clear wider tires. I was 18 or 19 at the time now Im 30 and cant really remember how it was done. It had some parts that was longer and we had to put new stops in the slider tracks. Is this kind of kit available for the astro/safari vans?

I think I know how I want to lift it so that part isnt an issue.

Sorry I didnt notice the door part of the wheel/tire thread but still want to know about the door extention

I didi that a long time ago as well, but I remember it was just a longer rod to space the rear of the door out as it slid back over the rear wheel/tire. One of the van shops should still offer those, I would think.

I looked for a door extender and couldn't find one. I have 255-70-15's on my van. 4" back spacing on 8" wheels. I had to modify all of the wheel wells. On the right rear (slider side) I had to cut out the center of the wheel and move it 1 1/4" to the outside to make clearence for the slider. On the down side it was way too much work. ](*,) On the positive side I REALLY like the way it looks. When I change wheels I'll try something with a different offset.

I think it will clear with the 4.5 backspace. I have 275-60-15 on a stock height van and it clears, just. BTW 275mm is close to 11"
Lots of 31x10.5 or bigger out there too. To fab a door extender?
Ya, I think the most challenging part will be figuring out where to bend the longer rod, and how far, so that the door can close on it, and so it sticks out far enough when its open.
Surprised no one here has tried yet. Gotta be a guinea pig in here somewhere, lol...I havent the need.

Anything less then a 4 in backspace will hit if you go wider then a 255 tire

I've got 255/70/15 on stock wheels all around my van & they don't even protrude past the fender flares .... no modifying to fit at all . maybe its because of the stock wheels ... not sure of the back spacing without checking . but they fit , look & ride great on my van .
