I toy with the idea. Then I take her for a drive and the idea disappears..... :muhaha:
Not to mention the fact that I'd have to paint a 2005 so's to match the Tramper.

he peter about tramper isn't the tongue weight pretty high when fully loaded since the wheels are located so far to the rear? i was thinking that moving the forward might me needed to keep the weight off the hitch, any thoughts?
it seems i'm going to be handed a 95 rwd stro with an engine that needs to be rebuilt to play with. since i like camping and i've loved the tramper since i first saw it i might as well take this van so the wreckers don't see it (feel like such a biter) the engine i wanna rebuild for a side project (i guess i had no reason to say all that.... meh)

Yes, the tongue weight is a tad higher than I'd wanted, but still acceptable. I think I was up to around 120 lbs or so empty but c/w full 30 lbs propane bottle, don't remember exactly. Loaded, I'm sure I go to around 200 lbs. I purposely try to load her in a way where the ice-filled coolers/cases of beer etc are at the far rear of the trailer. I installed my two 6v deep cycle batteries under the floor right before the rear doors to help offset the tongue weight as well, which definitely helped. I believe the recipe for tongue weight is 10-15% of total weight. I think the Tramper weighs around 1800-2000 lbs empty.

Hahaha..... The Trailer Thingie is called Tramper, because Smurfboy is the Tramp that sleeps in the Camper.
