no,a little less than a year..........

my paint guy has had it since thursday.the pics were from yesterday.the van is in primer now.he was just here discussing the paint color .i will have it back tuesday,or so he says.

we went awya from the escalade white.looked to "cream" color on the test panel.

its going to be a more conventional white with a light blue pearl.

I'm with Trybe. windows are gooooood. Ya think they are for suckers? come on down to Houston and drive the morning traffic on 290 with 80,000 other half asleep morons on their cell phones, putting on mascara, drinking coffee, reading the freeking paper etc etc etc etc etc that stick on the left of the steering wheel, its a turn signal. if it's on, leave it on, if it's off don't touch it. I rant therefore I am.
'89 Astro, 4.3L, TBI. Minor intake and exhaust mods. Rebuilt 700R4 trans (by me). Corvette servo, 0.5" boost valve, police grade 1-2 accumulator spring (shifts fast and solid). B&M stacked plate trans cooler. Bilstein shocks. Belltech sway bars front and back. New head unit, speakers and subwoofer. Needs paint and a new headliner.

kepping it simple, but a little more flashy than just fleet white.

that's not a cheap paint.. 3 stage (ground, mid, clear) and loads and loads of pearl in it. let's hope you never have to spray in a bumper or fender in the future... it never sprays in like the full repaint always has a tinge of pee yellow in it for some reason .. hehe

can't wait to see the final product :bounce:

Good luck on the paint work. Kind of like building a house. You don't want anything done unless you're there to watch.
