Global Warming and Fuel Prices

Post by Rileysowner »

I was made aware of this article today, and found it very informative. It puts what is happening right now into a context where we find that a lie by environmentalist has caused the over $4 price of gasoline. #-o

You are welcome. I have done a fair amount of research on the topic, but had not heard of the 30000 scientists who spoke out against the whole global warming scam. And the media claims they are not biased. Ya, right!

This whole global warming thing is so stupid. Their so concerned about the carbon that comes from our much needed and can't live with out vehicles but they never think about all the forests that get mauled for land development. Well every time a tree dies or a leaf falls from a tree, it releases carbon. And the only thing that changes carbon into oxygen is a LIVING TREE!! It's first grade science! It's all a money scam, and their screwing us over. Here in Vancouver BC theres forests every were I look that is getting completely mauled over so that a factory or town houses can go up even though we can't live in them cause there so expencive. I came to tiers one day when drove a few blocks down my street of what used to be a big forest and is now a business complex and saw a dear wondering around the black top looking for food.

Global warming my a__. Amazing how so many people believe anything that comes down the tubes. Now I am a believer there may be an increase in temps. but that's happened before and will most likely happen again as history repeats itself, which is another topic we haven't learned the first thing about. (history repeating itself)
Lower what affects the temp. is a total waste of time and money. With China and India coming out of the dark ages and quickly becoming industrial giants,,we're going to set the rules on what can and cannot be done,,,riiiiiight. I've done alot of reading about Al Gores global warning crap and agree with thousands of cretics. If you spent trillions and trillons of dollars to reduce global warming you would only add a couple of years to our exsistence.
So rock and roll my friends but don't believe the gas shortage or the global warming stuff. It the Dems. wanting us to need them for everything to exsist. The closeing years of Democracy.
I met two very nice people at a meeting a couple of months ago who own a trucking company in Pa. who are from Russia and have been in the US for 15 years. As our conversions went on and I felt like they were open to a question I had, I asked what their thoughts were concerning our Gov. John said from the time he was 11 years old, now 50, his dream was to live in the U.S. and at 35 years old he made it and started his own business and loved living and working here but said he was very concerned about the turn both parties had made toward being more liberal and especially the Dem. party which he said was very simular to his Communist party he left many years ago. Something to think about. Rich get richer and the middle class wiped out. Doing a pretty good job I'd say.

What we really need to be worried about is a nuke entering one of our ports. Will happen sooner or later.

Off soapbox.

yeah exactly!! The planet has been warming up and cooling off for thousands of years, it's been proven in the layers of the earth. And I don't know if anyone has heard about the North and South poles switching. This happens every so many thousands of years. It effects weather patterns temp, storms, exc... The Astronomers are saying that it's starting to happen now. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Does anyone remember back in that late 70's the fear we were heading for an ice age? I can remember seeing artist drawings of New York city engulfed in a glacier. And what ever happened to that big hole in the ozone layer they were so worried about?

don't hear much about that hole anymore do you. So say that the environmentalists succeed and we all just ride bikes to work...exactly what legislation do they think is going to keep volcanoes from spewing tons upon tons of pollution, and yes, greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. The mount pinatubo eruption put more pollution into the atmosphere than all of mankind from the beginning of the industrial revolution up until that point in time. Al Gore is making a mint off this scam. Beware the carbon tax. ( oh sure he lives a carbon neutral life... biggest bunch of crap I ever heard. What's he run his private jet on....bunny farts?)

Here's the webpage if your are interested. The number of scientists has grown a bit, over 31K now.

Seems to me that global warming is the least of our problems. I wonder who they're going to blame for this one.

The ozone hole is a naturally occurring event over both poles in the arctic and antarctic wintertimes. Quack scientists chose to blame it on long-chain chlorine atoms from R-12 & R-22 refrigerants, but that was shot in the @ss over the winter of 90-91 by NASA flying it's ER-2, (modified USAF U-2), aircraft out of Eielson AFB in Alaska, and supported by the folks from the 6th SRW, to which I was assigned at the time. Even the NASA guys said if chlorine atoms were the fault of the hole, that people's swimming pools would have a larger effect than car air conditioners & home refrigerators.

Never saw that s*it in the press, now did ya? There's such a flippin' agenda....

more importantly...... I think they make ozone machines, yeah I know there are different kinds ozone (ok I don't know it, but I've heard it) and every plane or NASA rocket or any other powered flying machine would should have which ever kind is needed, IF it were actually a problem....

back to CO2, if it were such a problem, wouldn't you think you'ld hear more complaints about NASA launches and the tons that it must produce..... and that of the planes used by our legislators, while they fly around the country and even the planet lobbying, vacationing (while we cant afford it and pay for they're trips) fact finding (inventing) and collaborating with others about how to control us for our own safety...... and safety to keep their positions.......

wouldn't you think if it were a problem vehicles would be getting hundred(s) of mpg, electric cars and generators would be encouraged and even funded - solar panels, shingles on homes and business, wind generators, micro hydro plants on any properties along side of running water, and tidal generators - all of these exist, but not much hype to get them to where they could do anything, in the hands of the people. (its still all about greed, just like the global warming scare)

There is an Air cars, that run on compressed air (that will need to be compressed using power generated by......), I'm not sure its available in the US, (yet).... and futher more, if CO2 is such terrible thing, why aren't electric golf carts legal on streets and roads, or made to be even safe enough for higher speeds.

why do people and kids still use co2 cartridges for bb guns, paint ball guns and even dry ice.... when it warms up.... :yikes: CO2

why don't they collect some of this terrible stuff , use it to maneuver in space, loose loose some out there..... and send a bunch to Mars to try warming it up, from all the problems were having here, apparently we will need a backup planet........

:yikes: plus Dec 29th is the end of the world anyway, so why worry about it..... Chinese and some other (Aztec/Mayan) calender didn't plan ahead, so we're out of time....... Sorry, should have made a longer calender..... now were all screwed :-({|=

and if it were so devastating, wouldn't you think there would be hundreds of thousands of people and groups replanting forests on government and their own lands. and three layered planting instead of massive lawns. tall trees, smaller ones that grow under the canopy and ground covers, together absorbing more CO2 than a short layer of grass

I'm doing my part, my back yard is an inner city subtropical rain forest (weeds bigger than me, even growing some of my own food supplements. raspberries and mulberries along with my tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, lettuce) destroying all the CO2 and making oxygen for everyone else to enjoy.... should be charging for it............

not to mention all the pollutants and contaminants I pull from peoples carpets and upholstery, which I promptly deposit on their lawns, fertilizing and watering them, so they can produce more oxygen too......... (do we have a Smilie that pats his own back, I want one of them..... :prayer:
