I bought a 2004 Astro Cargo 2WD about a year ago, I've wanted one for a long time, finally got rid of my old Ford 4X4 pickup and got this beautiful Astro Cargo, it's got built-in locking toolboxes and parts drawers in it, which I like, and I recently bolted on a Surco Safari roof rack and a ladder. Both are painted black which I think looks good against the white van body.
I was thinking about installing a lift kit, and I found Dan Moreau's Overland Vans website. I told Dan I couldn't really make up my mind, and he sent me here, to astrosafarivans, and I wrote him again and said that was a dirty trick because now I MUST HAVE A LIFT KIT.
I guess you all know Dan is recovering from major surgery, and is thinking about selling the business; I wish him Long Life and Happiness, but I'm glad I got my order placed before he retires. I see his name mentioned often on this board and it looks like I made a good decision.
I'll post photos when I can and, hey y'all I'm in Missouri and I like to go car-campin.'
