No I think it's a terrible photo, I recently applied for a passport and that photo is even worse. I just felt I should post the most recent photo I have.
It does look like a mugshot. Some people get better-looking with age, I'm not one of them. As Ringo Starr supposedly once said, "I'm not really miserable--it's just me face."

my wife just informed me that pic was taken on the durango silverton train in colorado. We were the only two to buy first class tickets and so we had the entire bar car to ourselves. so I definitely had a few.
