well, danny said it, the tranny is in and it is all correct this time. Throttle cable braket is cut and ready to weld. It needed to be modified to fit so I will have pics of it up soon. Power steering is on and the next batch of stuff to get painted is starting to pile up. Pictures are soon to come.

I know that choice of convincing him to paint the subframe or else gary would put "that" picture back in his signature was a little to much to handle. Like it was frightening, Infact scarier than the PMs peter keep sending me to invite me over for a sleep over.

So I thank you for painting the visible parts of the sub frame and saving us all from that.

Right now I am waiting for my welder to come back home.....DANNY!!! haha. The welder will be home this weekend and I will start to do the custom fab work to make the dip stick tubes and fill tubes and throttle braket and others to be the way I want them. I also need to redue the wiring harness for the 5.7 this weekend and the sound deadner will go down this week sometime. Anyways, I will have pictures up this week sometime I hope.

Danny-......I'll kill you. Like a ninja. :axe:

With that said, I have some progress for you all. I got the sound deadener in. Three layers around the dog house area for the purpose to keep some header heat out. The rest you see is two layers. Before you all yell at me again, the reason why I didn't go up any higher than what I did is because I didn't want the added thickness of the matt to mess up reassembly of the pedals, dash, heater box, ect. Plus there is that big insulation mat that is factory and like I said, the main reason why I deadened the floor was to keep out the heat of thos shorty headers. I think with the header wrap and the deadener it should be nice and cool. Anyways, here are some pictures.

Sorry for the long period of no post. All I have to say is the wiring is the long part of every project. pictures speak louder than words.
