Drove my daughter and I 140 miles to my parents house in central Illinois.

You remember the movie "The Christmas Story" and the kid stuck his tongue on the flag pole and it froze? Well I tried that on my Astro and it really works!

Made the return trip home. ScanGaugeII says I averaged 22.4 mpg.

Drove it abit, exhaust got loudd, turns out the pipe broke just before the cat! ](*,)

I finally found an overhead console bracket today whilst searching for a carb for my son't 'ol Dodge...may get back to the 'stro sooner than i thought

Washed and vacumed it today, after doing a 600 mile roundtrip to my moms and back in upstate NY, over the weekend.

Pushed Green through an intersection and over to the side of the road, popped the hood, wiggled some wires, and got back in hoping that I re-established the ground. Started it back up and drove it home.

don't wash mine, it makes the paint come off...

new wiper blades, replaced a headlight with a salvage lamp I had in the garage. Got my new aldl cable tonight in the mail. downloaded winaldl the other day. got a new timing light. time to do some detailed investigation and tuning.
'89 Astro, 4.3L, TBI. Minor intake and exhaust mods. Rebuilt 700R4 trans (by me). Corvette servo, 0.5" boost valve, police grade 1-2 accumulator spring (shifts fast and solid). B&M stacked plate trans cooler. Bilstein shocks. Belltech sway bars front and back. New head unit, speakers and subwoofer. Needs paint and a new headliner.
